Bouquet Pick-Up

After Care

What services do you offer?

We specialize in turning your bouquets into stunning keepsakes. From shadow boxes to solid herbariums and more, our services are designed to suit your unique style. Whether it’s a wedding bouquet, an anniversary arrangement, or flowers from another special moment, we’ll transform them into cherished, lasting treasures.

How long does the preservation process take?

The total process usually takes about 3 months, including flower conditioning, preservation, design approval, and crafting your piece. Timelines may vary based on the arrangement's complexity and preservation method.

What is a Solid Herbarium?

A Solid Herbarium uses mineral and silicone oil as its medium, solidifying into a unique, bouncy, rubbery form that offers a fresh and modern take on flower preservation. Unlike resin, solid herbariums can be paired with acrylic or glass, giving you more creative keepsake options.

MJ Flower Preserve is proud to be the first and only flower preservation studio in Oregon to introduce this innovative technique, providing brides with an exciting new way to preserve their wedding bouquets.

How will my product turn out?

Each piece is carefully handcrafted with attention to detail, though small bubbles may naturally form, enhancing its unique charm.

Will my flowers dry the same color?

Color changes are natural during preservation. White flowers may dry to ivory, pinks can darken to purple, yellows often mute or deepen, and blues or purples dry darker. Red and dark purple flowers typically dry to a deep plum color.

Why do some petals have translucent spots in solid herbariums?

Translucent spots come from bruising during a flower’s life—at the florist, on your wedding day, or in transit. These marks tell the story of your blooms, and we celebrate their unique imperfections.

How long will my product last?

Forever! While the colors may gradually fade over the years, the shape will remain unchanged. As long as you take care of it and don't discard it, your piece can be preserved for a lifetime.

How to take care my product?

Please avoid exposing your product to direct sunlight to preserve its quality and finish. For Solid Herbariums, you can easily wipe dust off with a wet tissue.

How quickly will the colors fade?

Color changes over time are natural, and how quickly they fade depends on how the piece is stored. If exposed to direct sunlight, fading may begin within a month. To maintain its beauty, please keep your item away from direct sunlight. Let it mature with time, just like cherished memories.
